Website Re-Make With Write Up

This is the template i had chosen for my website. it started off with a lot of text and images on already but i began deleting the excess text and images so i could have a fresh start.

This is the blank page i had made so i could freely change and manipulate the color of the page and place any text i want on there from scratch. I also added the band logo and the name of the single that is being promoted within the website. 

I then added a screenshot from the "Somebody Else" music video onto the page as this single is the main focus on the site when you initially click on it. 

I then in a smaller font added the album name that the song will be appearing in. I made the text the same color as the title as it fits in well together and creates a sense of continuity. 

Then i added a box and put the words Enter Here inside of it as a outline for the hyperlink i will add to it later. 

I highlighted the text and right clicked and chose the option to re-direct it to the page that will be the official website.

Then beneath the album name i created seven blank pink boxes and filled them with pink text which will then be created into hyperlinks  that leads to different pages and sites according to the context of the text.

This is the hyperlinks being added to the separate boxes and texts that links them to certain websites etc. 

This is the official website home page and initial tabs i had created showing what the site layout would look like. 

 

Random Album Cover

First of all i went and made the image i had chosen for my front cover so that it fit perfectly within my frame. I also held down the shift key whilst doing this so that my album cover photo didn't go out of proportion.


I then added the band name and placed it along the top of the cd cover i then edited the size and the typography so that it fit nicely and that it was readable.


Then i added my Album name, i chose to put it in white as it created a contrast and it stood out more against the background, i also chose the same font to show a sense of consistency.


I then added a tribal symbol which is the bands logo, i chose to put it in a dark grey as i was a happy medium compared to the black and white. I also didnt want to add and bright primary colours as i thought it didnt go with the theme of the cover.


For the back of my cd cover i used the same image as i thought that it would match a lot better.


I then added the tracklist onto the back cover and placed it in white and in the same font as the front cover so that it would again show consistency.


I then added an enlarged version of the band logo and placed it behind the text and kept it in the same shade of grey to show a consistent theme.

Early Idea Development

This is a pinterest board made for all early ideas. This includes a lot of grunge black outfits, fire and manipulation of coloured lighting. Reflective colours are also prominent also.
